Officially presented at the 2018 Pescare Show in Vicenza, our Desert Storm is based on a new reactive and power-increasing blank, specifically designed for braided lines (also suitable for monofilaments). In its first 20-30 cm this blank greatly makes up for the braided lines' lower elasticity, limitating the breaks due to sudden and fast get-aways that not even the best clutches could balance because of the spool's mass. This blank looks thin and light, calibrated in the two optimal powers of 30 and 50 lbs. Partially made in high-resistance-carbon-fiber, but also includes an innovative "zero memory" fiber which is today the best compromise between strength and flexibility in the "right" points. This blank has been completed for the "DESERT STORM" model with a new ergonomic, double colored, washable grip, and a new and light handle in a recognizable color suitable for both gold, silver and also colored reels. You can now stop worrying about which color your next reel will be... The standard model looks very elegant with a cutting edge sand color finish, as the rod's name indicates, but it is also possible to ask it, and Italcanna is the first one to do so, in WATER or FIRE theme... We cannot guarantee you sure wins, which will mostly depend on your effort and a little bit of luck, but we know for sure that if you will be fighting with a Desert Storm you will be feared through the seas...
