The Mangusta is for sure one of the few "real" long surf rods ever built. It will propel leads of up to 130 grams reaching huge distances. With a length just below 5 meters, in accordance with angling rules, and an ultra-sensitive tip, this rod will handle very long hooklengths or allow the use of various hooks on the same line, thereby increasing your catching ratio with just one rod. Despite its slim diameter, this rod is perfectly balanced thanks to the adoption of state-of-the-art materials and technical solutions, such as high-grade HM and HR carbon fibres, "Ultra Light" Alconite and SIC guides on the most critical sections and the new "Italcanna Balance Optimizer" cap. It features a comfortable handle with high-grip coating for a firm hold of the rod in any situation and is supplied as standard with guide caps.
