SPARVIERO

The Sparviero and Sparviero SPORT meet the need for two-piece, split-action rods, suitable for powerful casting and therefore easy to use, suitable for both intermediate and advanced anglers.
They are both tools designed entirely for fishing with a gentle action, able to adapt to the angler and not vice versa. Structurally, they are composed of two symmetrical pieces (except for the Sport 4m) with a small diameter, approximately 21mm at the reel seat. Under dynamic load, they form a perfect C-curve, revealing a short and extremely sensitive dead tip.
Precisely for these characteristics, both are easily overlooked, as they are light, thin, and have a fairly compliant butt, but the quality of the carbon and the perfect scaling of the arch make the response quick and pleasant. They don't lock, they forgive imperfect casting, they are docile, but the return is instantaneous, almost unexpected, even when pulled violently.
On the bankstick, it's regal; the highly sensitive tip bends to the waves just enough to keep the weight in check, but the sub-tip fused to the bow makes it ready enough to handle spikes and sand-filled pyramids.
The tip clearly signals the slightest touch; it's hard not to notice a customer feasting on the other end of the line, even if small. Retrieving a fish generates new sensations; the tip incredibly supports escape attempts, but control of larger prey passes to the sub-tip, which is no slouch...
The basic version handles 100g to 175g of weight well, with an optimum of 125-150g plus bait depending on the type of cast, enjoying both pendular fishing and off-the-ground casting for maximum distances.
The SPORT version is more aggressive and responsive than the standard, leaving the same sensitivity at the tip and is particularly suited to 150g plus bait.
Overall, we can say that the Sparviero represents a return of the two-piece to the world of fishing. Leaving other tools for casting ranges and extreme casting techniques, we reclaim the joy of a rod suitable for the advanced user who wants to have fun by the sea, grappling with waves or calmer situations, always with the knowledge that for once, like in the old days, it is the rod that adapts to the caster, not the other way around...

New Sparviero LGT
The LGT version, unlike its two bigger sisters, has an even more sensitive and thinner tip and is therefore designed for light leads and for use with a fixed spool reel. Optimal casting weights are between 75 and 125g above and side.
Precisely because of the extreme sensitivity of the tip, this model is not intended for technical angled casts.
